ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Students whose first language is not English are normally required to submit proof of English language proficiency. When proof of English language proficiency is required, you must achieve the following minimum score or above on a recognized English language proficiency test: IELTS 6.5 overall; TOEFL 90 iBT; MELAB 81; CAEL 70 overall; C1 Advanced 180 overall; C2 Proficiency 180 overall.

ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES PROGRAM: Students who apply for admission and do not meet the minimum English language requirements can enroll in StFX’s EAP program. The program offers intermediate (Level 5) and advanced (Level 6) English for Academic Purposes courses to prepare students for undergraduate studies at StFX.
